This model is suitable for customers with well defined requirements and project schedules. Under this alternative, the customer pays a pre-agreed fixed price for the complete project which in turn is linked to clearly identified deliverables.
This model is executed as per the following steps:
- Customer sends the requirement definition to CIPL.
- Our Business Analyst studies the requirements and asks for clarifications, if any. Based on finalized requirements, a detailed proposal is submitted to the customer along with time frame, project milestones, payment milestones and cost estimate.
- Upon acceptance of the proposal by the customer, CIPL's analyst works on Software Design Document (SDD) and a project plan incorporating clearly defined deliverables is prepared and submitted to the customer.
- Simultaneously under a parallel activity, development and testing environments are set up and the rest of the project team is assembled. CIPL assigns individual team lead to each project for better execution of project.
- Each fixed cost project comes with 3 months of bug free warranty which takes care bug fixes.
