StartCon 2019: Exhibiting To The Australian Startups & SMEs

Let's Discuss Opportunities

Australia’s largest startup conference, StartCon was a big success! Selling out nine years in a row and delivering value to hundreds and thousands of startups and entrepreneurs, this growth conference has been one of the most looked-out ones. On its 10-year anniversary, Startcon played host to many international keynote speakers. They shared their startup journey and how they took their business to the next level. The face of this year’s StartCon was none other than Honorable Malcolm Turnbull, Prime Minister of Australia.

This year StartCon was held at the Royal Randwick Racecourse, Randwick in Sydney. It was a two-day conference that was conducted on 22nd and 23rd November. The budding entrepreneurs were inspired by the speeches of renowned personalities like Dr. Christyl Johnson, John Mcafee, Amy peck, Tobi Pearce, and many more.

Over 4,000 startups, entrepreneurs, investors, and others from the tech community participated in this event and made it a success. The Australian Regional Finals Pitch Competition kept a majority of the attendees glued to their seats to hear the pitches of all the startups fighting to get the 1.5 million dollar funding.

The two-day long conference was aimed at empowering the entrepreneurs with the power of automation, Artificial Intelligence, and other data-driven technologies that are disrupting each industry. It was action-packed two days where strategies were shared, technologies discussed, and connections built for all in the industry.

The two days were full of action and one could participate in a variety of events that included the pitch competition, Hackathon, explore the Exhibition by over 150 exhibitors, access the VIP Pavilion to have private chat with the keynote speakers, network and enjoy lunch with the investors, and much more. The two stages- Fintech Stage (Day 1) and AI Stage (Day 2) also saw many Australasian startups moving towards the third level of the venue.

Mr. Rajiv Mehta (CEO) and Mr. Gaurav Rana (Business Head) were present at the growth and startup conference to represent Classic Informatics, a global web development company. They were present at booth number A6 that was right in front of the entrance on the Expo floor.

Being a part of the StartCon 2019, we were super excited to offer technology-related assistance to the startups, entrepreneurs, and others in the community. The discussions we had majorly revolved around creating strategies for the digital transformation among Australian enterprises and startups. We also had a talk about the emerging technologies that would empower the startups and enable them to go for a power-packed product engineering

One thing we could make out through the discussions we had with the attendees was that a majority of the Australian startups are in the early phase of their product creation. They are in their ideation phase and are planning to get an MVP created. Some others have their products in their market and are looking for ways and strategies to market their products and create awareness among their audiences. At Classic Informatics, we were eager to assist them with the same and solve all their queries.

Inspired by the startup success stories of so many brands, the entrepreneurs were eager to know what solutions we had for web development and mobile app development. We also answered questions around extended teams and how they can work for them.

All in all, our experience at StartCon 2019 was exceptional and we are looking forward to exhibiting at the coming StartCon events in the coming years as well!
