Addressya is a digital addressing system that lets its users create and share addresses for faster, more efficient, and safer home deliveries. Not only is the app providing the people of these countries with a better way to connect with others, but it is also enabling SMEs and other online businesses a way to connect with buyers for hassle-free home deliveries.
Currently, the product is marketed and used by the people of rural Uganda and Rwanda with a vision to target the entire African continent. The team at Addressya wanted to relieve businesses from the hassle of missed or delayed deliveries because of improper addresses. They decided to set up an online system that would offer more precise and easy-to-use addresses to the customers. This Sweden startup looked to eliminate this problem via a solution that will allow everyone to register an address with a combination of GPS, official address data, and further user-generated information.
Building a platform that will revolutionize address creation and sharing. They sought to bring a change with their platform and allow everyone to register a precise, complete, and easy-to-use address to enable businesses to reach out to them for deliveries without any delays or hassle.
We collected information and data about their offering and built a team along with a dedicated product owner for Addressya. We assessed all their requirements and built a powerful platform that would cater to all their needs. We also built their database and used google Maps to the core to help represent the addresses more precisely. Through the platform, we helped Addressya connect B2B and B2C businesses with customers in African countries.
Addressya was in its starting phase and had just launched its business when the team came to us. They had an incomplete web app and wanted to build a mobile app that will make it more accessible to their target audience. We started out by setting up a React team of 15+ members for UI/UX enhancement for the dashboard. The aim was to help users have a precise address that can be easily accessed on the map.
To address the challenge and to get the ball rolling, we started with building the digital platform for the company using the latest technology frameworks. We also used OpenCart for building APIs and also built a wooCommerce extension. Further, we introduced automation to cater to the increasing user base.
Our project team of 15+ members also created stats-based forecasting via data visualization in Big Query & Data Studio. We helped them increase their business 10x by expanding the services to include a business directory (B2C, C2B, B2B, C2C), thus making deliveries, locating shops, and business partnerships easier for the locals as well as outsiders. Our development team helped Addresya reach over 100,000 contacts and expand its footprints in the African continent.
