Client Overview
Condexo is a UK property management platform connecting landlords, tenants, and contractors in one place to manage properties, payments, and maintenance.
Having already launched in Italy, they wanted to bring the same platform to the UK market — expanding scope, adding features, and scaling iteratively from MVP.
The Challenge
- No unified platform connected landlords, tenants, and contractors in the UK market.
- Distributed work model created communication barriers across the global team.
- Project management processes were inconsistent, slowing module delivery and alignment.
Our Approach
1. Immediate team deployment
Classic Informatics proposed a mid-size team — one front-end developer, one back-end developer, and a tester — matched to the project scope and ready to start without delay.
2. Agile collaboration from day one
The team adopted agile methodology, holding regular stand-ups, creating sprint roadmaps, running brainstorming sessions, and conducting joint code reviews to keep all parties aligned.
3. Phased build from MVP to scale
Rather than delivering everything at once, the platform was built in phases — launching the MVP first, validating it, then expanding the feature set and team size incrementally.
4. Team scale on demand
As the product matured, the team grew from three to seven members — adding front-end, back-end, and testing capacity managed by a Classic Informatics project manager.
What We Built
Platform Architecture
- MERN stack core (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)
- MongoDB database with data encryption for sensitive user information
- Node.js backend powering all core application logic
Delivery Model
- Agile sprint-based delivery with regular roadmap reviews
- Distributed team model with Classic Informatics acting as an extension of the in-house team
Impact Delivered
Condexo now has a production-ready, scalable property management platform built for the UK market. The phased delivery model allowed them to validate early assumptions and expand the product with confidence, backed by a team that grew alongside their needs.
Business Impact
- MVP delivered and validated before full-scale feature build
- Team scaled from 3 to 7 members as product matured
- Ongoing partnership supporting continued platform growth since 2020
- UK market expansion enabled by a purpose-built, localised platform
- Communication and project management challenges resolved through structured agile delivery
