The customer is a technology expert who offer ICT solutions to the healthcare industry. The customer has various products and services for hospitals and aged care institutions. They identified the gap in the industry and decided to create an iPad or tablet app for the same.
The customer wanted to digitalize the manual patient data collection process that led to unwanted errors and time wastage. They came to us with the idea of automating the data collection process through an iPad app and synchronizing it with the main server.
To partner with an experienced app development company that could build their app with automated functionalities. They wanted an app for nurses & hospital staff to collect patient information and have it sync data to legacy application.
We assessed their requirements and proposed an Enterprise iPad application for them. It could be distributed to the hospitals would have three subsystems including iPad app for data entry, server application to view data and component to sync data to legacy application.
The customer wanted to create a revolutionary application that could help nurses and other hospital staff to collect visitor information without manual entries. It should also be handy so that staff could collect information on the go.
We chose to build their application for iPads and tablets so that it can be carried around and is also synchronized with the legacy system for automatic data capturing. We added several features like creating forms for capturing relevant data, shift change facility, sorting data, giving permission control to admin, reporting interface, and more.
The end application that we created was able to help hospitals save time in manual reporting and use it more efficiently in check-ups. There was also a significant reduction in errors in entries.
