Client Overview
Veracode is a software security company offering an intelligent platform that identifies flaws and vulnerabilities across the modern software development lifecycle. The platform serves development teams globally, using AI trained on large volumes of code to accelerate vulnerability remediation.
Veracode needed a complete overhaul of their content management system to support a growing, multilingual audience — and to integrate effectively with their marketing and translation tooling.
The Challenge
- An outdated CMS could not handle the volume or diversity of content Veracode published.
- Content contributors worked in silos, with no efficient workflow for review and approval.
- Managing translations for a multilingual, global audience was error-prone and time-consuming.
- Salesforce and marketing tool integrations were fragmented, limiting campaign effectiveness.
- Version control for content updates was inconsistent, creating accuracy and compliance risks.
Our Approach
1. Choose the right platform for scale
Classic Informatics selected Drupal as the CMS foundation — its native multilingual support, modular architecture, and extensive library of modules made it the right fit for Veracode's content complexity and global reach.
2. Restructure the content and workflow architecture
Before configuring any modules, Classic Informatics mapped Veracode's full content library — including research, blogs, webinars, whitepapers, and technical documentation — and restructured the information architecture to support efficient management at scale.
3. Integrate marketing and translation tools natively
Rather than bolting on integrations after launch, Smartling, Marketo, and Digesto were built into the CMS workflow from the start — so translation, email campaigns, and content publishing operated as a single coordinated system.
4. Validate with rigorous testing before go-live
BrowserStack was used for comprehensive cross-device and cross-browser QA, and Git SourceTree was adopted for version control — ensuring the new platform launched cleanly with minimal post-release issues.
